Canele at Raffles City

Saturday, 6th September 2008 (Part 2)

Went to Canele at Raffles City Shopping Centre for lunch after the makeover. We were all starved as it was already late noon.

Jo went to the washroom, so Phyllis and I started fiddling with the camera while waiting for the food

Mushroom Soup

The soup was fantastic!!! Very creamy and full of mushroom!!!

Next was Jo's pasta. I think it was seafood pasta. Cant remember the taste but it was definitely above average.

Here comes my red wine chicken. The chicken was very succulent and tender. However the sauce was a disappointment. The sauce was supposed to be dipped with the bread that comes with it but I found the combo not compatible at all so in the end I left the bread alone.

Last to come was Phyllis crab pasta. The sauce simply made me drool. It tasted exactly like chilli crab. So delicious. Really regretted not ordering pasta.

All our food


Went to Cozy Cot Event after lunch. Was so disappointed as we thought it was a huge, whole day event, with several floors of entertainment. It turned out to be a one floor, small area where you can see everything in a flash. We managed to get in, walk one round and get out of the building within 30 mins.

Our final destination was window shopping at Bugis. The girls went home at about 8pm and I was left alone to wait for Kelvin to meet me for dinner.
