Subway is one of my favourite hangout for dinners since I stayed vegetarian for 2 years. I am still on weekdays vegetarian diet, real glad that Subway outlets are islandwide.
My favourite is the veggie patty. Although Veggie Delite is a healthier version, I just dont favour plain raw veggies with bread. So I opted for the sinful sibling instead.
If you want to try the Veggie Patty, do note 2 things.
1st, it is one of the priciest sandwich in store probably because few people ask for it and they had to justify the cost for wastage when they cannot sell it out by expiry.
2nd, it is not on the menu of all Subway Outlets. You need to ask for it. I was at the Changi Airport Branch that I discovered the Veggie Patty. I was sick of the Veggie Delite and ask the staff whether they had any vegetarian alternative. I tried it once and was hooked ever since.
Nowadays, even when I visit Subway on weekends, I will still choose the Veggie Patty over other fillings as I felt it tasted better than real meat!
If you want to indulge, ask for loads of mayonnaise like me. I had to ask them for more mayo at least twice everytime. (Wonder whether they are stingy or am I too greedy, hee...)
Kelvin's favourite is Tuna. He will only change to other fillings once a while when I remind him that Tuna are loaded with mercury and if he dont want to get intoxicated, he should not eat Tuna so often.
Kelvin seriously considering the effect of Tuna poisoning... ;p
Last Note: To end the meal more than satisfied, do not leave out the cookies. (I personally recommend oatmeal raisins and chocolate chips). :)
