Went shopping with Serene at Far East Plaza after my exam.

(Honey, thanks for so willing to be my model despite being pregnant, appreciated it very much, MUACKS!!!)

I think this is the first time shopping with Serene since her pregnancy. Time really flies. Recently Anlinna just gave birth to a cute baby girl and now Serene's baby boy is 'arriving' in 2 months' time...

Met up with Gary and Kelvin for dinner after we ended our shopping endeavor :)

Dinner at Chinatown Complex Food Centre. Gary ordered a few famous delicacies for us.

The delicious Claypot Rice with loads of pungent salted fish.




Xiao Long Bao

Was told by Serene that owner of this stall is a couple with china accent. Their Xiao Long Bao is so juicy and delicious, definitely restaurant quality but too bad their skin is not thin enough (but quite acceptable).



This Braised Duck with Water Chestnut and Mushrooms brings us back to childhood's home cooked dish. Yum!!!

Steam Fish Head
Speciality of Chinatown Complex Food Centre. There are so many stalls selling steam fish head. Fish from the stall we ordered was fresh and cooked to perfection. I love fish so this is one of my Top Favourite!!!

Verdict:

Chinatown Complex Food Centre is full of affordable and delicious food. Abundant Stalls enough for you to come back all year round for unforgettable food.

I endured my throbbing headache so as not to spoilt the mood. After sending Gary and Serene back home after our movie at Shaw House. We rushed to get panadols and rushed home to sleep.So nauseous... Price to pay for not sleeping enough... Haiz...

Finally have a little time to meet up with my YCKSS friends for dinner. So sad that I missed their fun Bintan trip...

Here we are at Manhatten Fish Market in Bishan Junction 8.

Asparagus Soup
Hmmm... Cant taste or see any asparagus. The colour doesn't even come close... Is this an artificial one... Deep fried mushroom --- Very crispy and toothsome, Yum...

I think this is deep fried white bait. At the bottom is coleslaw. Very refreshing match...
What Raymond, our 大哥大 ordered...

The rest of us ordered a few Seafood Platters to share.

The platters are definitely better than Fish & Co. (To be fair, I have only been to Fish & Co. at Suntec... Anyone who had better experience with Fish & Co. Do share and let me know :) )

Different from what we had at Suntec quite some time ago. Definitely not stingy with yummy mushrooms but the taste was not as good as the suntec branch...

NYDC? One of my favourite restaurant!!! A casual dining place with cheerful deco, fun menu and a acceptable price range.

School of Makeup Class Gathering 17th April 2009

Today we meet our dearest teacher Agnes, for a mini class gathering.

After dinner at Seoul Garden, we gathered in Takashimaya Shopping Centre toilet to try out Rimmel's cosmetic that Cherlin's is selling.

We only get out after we were escorted out by security guards when the shopping centre reached its' closing time, hahaha...

Poor Cherlin, her new shoes hurt her legs so much that she had to walk bare footed instead.
